when my heart speaks mind

There are days when your heart seems empty of love,

Nights when you just feel like there’s nothing to grab,

A month has gone just like everything’s going so wrong,

But you have no choice to stay strong.

Just when someone found you so helpless,

You are just not so willing to take risk,

He pulls you up like you’re some kind of damsel tourist,

And he circuits you to a world as great as his.

You gladly lend your hand as he helps you settle,

Clumsy and un-lady that you are like a pickle,

He seemed to find it delightful and still gentle,

And there you are wishing of Hansel and Gretel.

Then you find yourself stealing a gaze from him,

Time to time you see yourself smile up to the brim,

You realize you reached your quota in snatching

He pops up like he was about to get close or something.

The music was too loud but you can still hear your heart pound,

Wishing his hands was in your shoulder’s round,

Heart sprints from every moment he gets near,

Wishing whatever his heart shouts you will hear.

Then comes a chance of desperate move,

Hoping you can dance a salsa to every groove,

But then your little heart stops you,

Saying “if he does really like you,

He will come again here and meet you,

Do stupid crazy things just to woe you,

And will say any kind things for you,

He’ll work for it until the day you say ‘I do’,

So I suggest you put down your drama

And wait until he realizes he wants you to be the momma

Of two or three little ones he wanna make,

Stand up now and think of what’s at stake.”

Then your mind just say,
“Some girls’ just gotta have to wait.”
