“Our Dear One”

Sometimes when we’ve lost
    and a dear one is gone

Someone special in our lives

Our heart aches, out tears flow
    until we realize

Our loved one is free
    of strife and pain

We now can be thankful
    when we think of all they gain

We now live
    with the happy memories
    and still want the love they give

We know that for our dear love,
    now on Angel’s wing,
    will have the love and peace
    that life on earth can’t bring
