Heartless

My heart feels like it ran a marathon everytime I glance at you,

The way it pound feels like its going for a leap,

One that it would skip a beat,

But when I see you, oh how sweet!

My heart calms and wait on your every speech.

Seeing a picture of you burns me,

It’s like, why can’t you just come to me.

Ask me if we could be together,

Lay your every card and hold me tighter.

You plant sweet kisses in my hand like you’ll grow it,

You trail them until you reach my lips,

Wipes it as if there’s a sugar coating,

And conceals every air as if they’re escaping.

I love seeing you looking at me,

Not only that I feel beautiful but I feel safe,

Knowing that you’re guarding a stare

While twirling the edges of my hair

Laid down on your arms and loving care.

How I wish the night not to end,

For the night to die young like that,

Stars out, skies blue and clouds covering all the mountain dew,

Your hands in my heart,

Feeling every pound as if you understand the sound

And momentarily kissing,

As if all of these is dreaming.

Then that look you give as if you’re done,

Now you can’t wait for the morning Sun,

Can I wish back things never happened?

So you can’t tell me this is goodbye,

And there’s no more reason to try.

Then all that’s left is cry

Hoping for your feelings to just die.
