I ran, tears burning my eyes. I been betrayed by the people I’d once called my family, friends and lover. For all my life I trusted them to stand by me, and this is how they repay my trust and love.
I’d become someone new. Someone I didn’t recognise. There were moments when I couldn’t remember who I was or where I was. I kept seeing visions of death. I’d been called: weirdo, lair and a woman with issue. They were all just names to me. It was different, I felt in power they’ve spoke of me but spoke unkind, poison others mind with their anger, jealousy and stubbornness.
The negativity vibes felt like brambles caught my ankles and legs as I ran. Behind, I could hear the voices of people; voices roar with horrid words, a heavy pressure and cold feeling overcame my chest. My breath came in gasps, but I couldn’t turn back. The villagers would do whatever it took to see me burn. They were blinded by hatred, and seemed to think sacrificing me would make everything fine again. They believe I was responsible for the dilemma and the darkness that had always befallen in their life.
I sigh of relief as the creator handed courage and strength to overcome the pain that others endured onto me. He walked towards and pulled me forward, then wrapped his arms around me, filling my body with warmth and comfort. I could feel the wetness of his tears on his face and he whispers my name gently. For a moment I forgot about the angry mob and dissolve in a world of happiness.
We entered the meadow; cross the crowd that emerge with blazing flames in their hands. The Creators hand tightened around mine as we were surrounded with no escape. I felt beaten and silently prayed, tears leak out of my eyes as I thought about my fate.
Arms of the creator shield me; I threw my arms around his neck, my only comfort. I saw him challenge evil. I stop struggling and stood gracefully. I was pulled towards a tree; I look up and saw the creator holding the roars of anger in a dome. A glow from the east is bright the colours are appealing; my spirit drifted towards the path. The creator whispers my name, whisper not to fear and do not hesitant to a new journey. He had no other choice but to stay behind help the others as they’re just as important. I can vision him waiting for another to leave the dome, patiently waiting to help guide and heal his next child.
I bowed my head and promise to never fail myself or others. My heart, mind and spirit will remain pure. My words will be uplifting and powerful with his wisdom.
Spirit name; WaasayKamagoo-Kwe (Woman on the glowing path)
